Powered by a 2-nanometer process, the A20 Pro combines a six-core CPU with a seven-core GPU. Apple claims the GPU is up to 40% faster than the A19 Pro. The chip also features a Dual 16-core Neural Engine with 32 cores overall. Its redesigned thermal system connects the processor more directly to a larger vapor chamber, which has three times the surface area of its predecessor. Apple notes this setup sustains high performance during intensive tasks.
Battery life has been extended on both models, especially on eSIM-only versions. The iPhone 18 Pro provides up to 36 hours of video playback, while the Pro Max reaches 45 hours under similar testing. Wired charging can reach 50% in about 15 minutes on the Pro model. eSIM-only variants, which replace the physical SIM tray, will be available in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Running on iOS 27, the iPhone 18 Pro lineup supports the latest Apple Intelligence features.
