MOSCOW / RankWire.AI / – During the initial six months of 2026, Russia’s non-resource, non-energy industrial exports climbed to $58.8 billion, driven by increased shipments of chemical goods, metallurgy products, and light industry items. The Russian Federation Minister Anton Alikhanov confirmed these trade figures during briefings held alongside the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. This trade volume positions Russia to meet its annual goal of $116.95 billion in manufactured exports, which forms the core of Moscow’s broader $155.25 billion non-energy trade target for this year.

Data from government trade agencies show that mineral and chemical fertilizers led the growth across international markets. Positive shipment trends were also observed in precious metals, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, and specialized cosmetics, expanding Russia’s commercial presence in less traditional markets across Asia, Eurasia, and the Middle East. Officials highlighted that regional export support centers, managed by the ministry, have been fully integrated into unified operational networks alongside the Russian Export Center, to streamline logistics for regional manufacturers.

The mid-year trade report follows an 11% rise in non-resource, non-energy exports compared to the previous year. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s leadership emphasized that government strategies continue to prioritize establishing Russia as a reliable supplier of advanced industrial and high-tech goods despite ongoing international trade restrictions. Russia non-resource industrial exports reach $58.8 billion as federal trade agencies align national development goals with long-term infrastructure and manufacturing investments.

The 2026 Eastern Economic Forum, held at the Far Eastern Federal University under the theme of regional economic development, served as a platform to outline upcoming trade priorities. Minister Alikhanov reiterated that government support programs are functioning within the established targets of the national development framework. Plans aim to increase total non-energy trade by 66% over six years from the 2023 baseline figures.

Regional Business Outreach Boosted by Integrated Export Support Network

Trade officials emphasized growing commercial exchanges with countries in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Eurasian Economic Union. Russia’s non-resource industrial exports reached $58.8 billion, while domestic online retail platforms are expanding cross-border e-commerce activities through regional logistics hubs. Delivery of specialized equipment for healthcare and logistics infrastructure remains a key growth area in bilateral commercial agreements.

Federal trade authorities and regional support organizations will continue monitoring industrial export metrics through the second half of 2026. Finalized annual export data and sector-specific trade balances will be published after the fourth quarter. Official documents regarding export targets and infrastructure investments are accessible via government portals.
